I've been in South Australia for about 6 weeks now. The place is incredible; it's exactly the kind of holiday I needed-one filled with a blend of unique experiences. There are so many ways to explore South Australia, from its Adventure to Self Drive trails.

Right now, I'm up north at Flinders Ranges for the weekend, climbing ridges and bush walking, and thoroughly enjoying myself! I started my journey at the Barossa, which is the renowned wine region in South Australia. I had a field day tasting wine at various wineries such as Penfolds, Jacob's Creek, Wolf Blass, Seppeltsfield Winery and many more.

There's an abundance of untouched regions in South Australia. One of the coastal areas I visited, Eyre Peninsula , had the most pristine beach I've ever set foot on. Swimming with the dolphins in shallow waters-one of the only places in the world you can do that-has made me appreciate the wildlife more. Hand feeding the mighty Bluefin Tuna was truly unforgettable too. Fleurieu Peninsula is another coastal region popular among water sports enthusiasts. It was a relaxing road trip with a few of my mates; we spent our time kayaking and diving with leafy sea dragons.

Another highlight of my trip was a recent visit to Kangaroo Island. I finally visited the famed Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch, and got up close with sea lions at Seal Bay. Nature never ceases to amaze me.

In a few days I'll be driving to Limestone Coast to check out Naracoorte Caves, the only UNESCO World Heritage site in South Australia and indulge in the region's quality local produce. I've heard its pasture-fed beef are highly sought by restaurants around the country, and I can hardly wait to satisfy my palate.

I will also revisit Adelaide Central Market when I'm back in Adelaide, and hop on the tram to explore Glenelg, a popular seaside suburb. A day out at Adelaide Hills, just enjoying an authentic German meal, visiting fruit orchards and Melba's Chocolate Factory will be lovely as well. Hopefully, I'll be able to pick out some souvenirs for everyone back home at the factory.

I'm reluctant for my break to end. I have, however, gained a lifetime of memories in South Australia and stories to share, which I'm thankful for.
